First we have the Debra Lafaye lady who raped one of her students, whose lawyer stated that she was “too pretty for prison.” Now we have a judge from Sidney, Nebraska that stated that a convicted pedophile is “too short” for prison. Huh?

A judge said a 5-foot-1 man convicted of sexually assaulting a child was too small to survive in prison, and gave him 10 years of probation instead.

His crimes deserved a long sentence, District Judge Kristine Cecava said, but she worried that Richard W. Thompson, 50, would be especially imperiled by prison dangers.

“You are a sex offender, and you did it to a child,” she said.

But, she said, “That doesn’t make you a hunter. You do not fit in that category.”

So a person can just get probation after assaulting a child by just be a few inches shorter than most people? That is sick and crazy.

Marshal Zidel, a 59-year-old sicko piece of crap from Somerville, Massachusetts, was a youth camp photographer for 20 years. He then used those photos of children, many under the age of 16, to make child porn. He was found guilty and now faces sentencing. According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, Zidel was convicted

after a stipulated facts trial before Justice John M. Lewis in Hillsborough County Superior Court, North. Each charge alleged Zidel knowingly possessed a visual representation of a child engaged in sexual activity.

Sickeningly, Fark.com, a daily list of links to humorous or strange stories, called the sentencing “scary.” It’s scary that we are prosecuting perverts who are in close contact with children who make pornographic images of them? Give me a break. It would be scary if we didn’t prosecute this sicko.

The Drew Curtis-run Fark.com also called the call?by Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez for more compliance by Internet service providers in prosecuting those who collect or distribute child pornography “scary,” and in a misleading link title, “Bush Administration starts laying the groundwork for new restrictions on Internet usage.” Fark.com’s advocacy of evil perverts is not the only disturbing trend of the site. They also mock Holocaust victims with titles like, “Sadly, the Nazi death camp production of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ won’t be a-happening.”

The appropriate categories for these stories about pervs should be “sick,” not a knee-jerk reaction to clamping down on pornography that dehumanizes children, and is one of the most evil things to ever exist. Children have a right not to have their image on porn, regardless of whether it was them or someone else in the original picture. Those who produce or distribute these sick images should be thrown in jail, and not free and in contact with children themselves.

CNN has a disturbing story about online predators and children being exploited by evil and sickening predators.

[Attorney General Alberto] Gonzales described the depravity and horror of criminal acts against children in unusually graphic detail.

“It is not an exaggeration to say that we are in the midst of an epidemic in the production and trafficking of movies and images depicting the sexual abuse of children,” Gonzales said.

“The threat is frighteningly real, it is growing rapidly, and it must be stopped,” he said.

Gonzales . . . said the public “does not yet appreciate the scope, the nature and the import of this criminal activity and the threat it poses to our kids.”

The attorney general said one of every five children online is now solicited. He cited a recent estimate that 50,000 predators are online at any given time prowling for children.

Quoted in the Associated Press, Gonzalez said,

“It is graphic, but if we do not talk candidly, then it is easy for people to turn away and worry about other matters,” Gonzales said in a speech at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in Alexandria, Va.

and Ernie Allen, the Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s?president, said

many Americans continue to hold mistaken impressions of the issue . . . This is about children being sexually victimized. They’re young children and they’re getting younger.

The articles have very graphic descriptions of some of the illegal pornography. The people that produce this porn should be locked up for the rest of their lives. Adults that rape children should be automatically thrown into jail for life. I think it was the South Carolina legislature that recently proposed a law to put to death people that rape a child 11 years or younger a second time. All I can ask is, why the second time? Why not the first, if there is DNA evidence and it is beyond a reasonable doubt?

Leftists complain about overcrowded prisons, but if people would stop murdering and raping then we wouldn’t have that problem. Factories and businesses should be built adjacent and connected to the prisons that house violent offenders, and they should have to work for society instead of us having to work for them with our tax dollars. And the people that murder or rape should be made to work the jobs no one wants, and they should not be provided weight-lifting gyms. Murderers and rapists give up their rights when they choose to do the crime.

As for anyone who is found with child pornography on their computer, they should go to jail as well and pay hefty fines. The fines would then go to fund anti-child porn and anti-predator police forces.

These childrens’ lives are ruined by some disgusting and evil predator. Children deserve to live in a world free from worrying about predators.
