Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi, a former major in Saddam Hussein’s army, was apprehended as he tried to enter Iraq from Iran and was transferred this week to the “high-value detainee programme” at Guantanamo Bay.

We need to stop Iran from killing some of our troops. From a recent article:

US forces on Friday detained four members of a gang suspected of smuggling armour-piercing bombs from Iran to Iraq and sending back militants for “terrorist training”, the military said.
A statement from US command in Iraq said the suspects were picked up in an early morning raid on the east Baghdad suburb of Sadr City, a known stronghold of radical Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr’s Mahdi Army militia.

“The individuals targeted during the raid are suspected members of a secret cell terrorist network known for facilitating the transport of weapons and explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, from Iran to Iraq,” it said.

The EFP is a form of roadside bomb in which the detonation of an explosive charge inside a steel tube causes a copper disk to deform into a fist-sized chunk of supersonic molten metal that can scythe through armoured vehicles.

UPDATE: Lopez’ unfunny show is cancelled and he blames it on race! Television got a little bit “whiter”? What a racist.

I knew George Lopez is an idiot, but this video shows he’s a racist as well. He defends the racist policy of letting Hispanics skip to the head of the immigration line because of their race, and he also gives a “shout out” the “La Raza,” which means “the race” and is the name of an anti-Semitic, racist and evil organization described in earlier posts on illegal immigration who want to “take back” parts of the Southwest that were never theirs to begin with (they’re from Europe, too… Spain). 

Caution: Lopez relies on cussing heavily due to his idiocy and the low-IQ masses suck it up.

He gave a “shout out” to “La Raza, ” which means “the race” and is the name of a racist, anti-Semitic organization that wants to “take back” the Southwest which was never theirs to begin with (most Mexicans are from Spain, so they are from Europe too despite their race-baiting).

I’ve chronicled in my blog about how on their own web site they talk about “the Jews” and “the Whites” that “control” the school board and the government in Los Angeles. They have the gall to compare the Minutemen to Nazis, and that’s only because they can’t defend their position using rational debate. Of course that’s ridiculous; the Minutemen are not Nazis. If anything, the illegals and La Raza are the ones that have invaded another country and blame all their problems on “the Jews” and talk about killing people that are not Hispanics in videos posted to the Internet. Invading another country and blaming the Jews, while talking about killing others not your race? Sound familiar?

George Lopez giving a “shout out” to La Raza is like George Carlin giving a shout out to the KKK. Except when you’re Hispanic and racist, it’s somehow seen as “okay.” What evil pieces of crap.

CNN has quoted La Raza as if they are a legitimate organization; CNN might as well get quotes from the KKK or Aryan nation. They are all racist organizations with a mob mentality.

The illegals are so proud of being from Mexico and yet their country sucks. There’s a reason for that: anyone can put up drywall, but not anyone can create literary works or discover scientific concepts. Mexico has contributed… pollution and misery to the world. I have a lot of Hispanic friends, some Mexican but most are Puerto Rican or Cuban, and luckily they are nothing like this racist George Lopez idiot. Sadly, these mindless masses of Mexicans with low IQs and racist intentions laugh about our lack of border security. Send them back! Our roads are clogged, pollution is out of control, and crime rates rise with these idiots! And I am not scapegoating, it’s not fair for them to skip ahead of the line of people from say, India or China, who can often contribute more to our economy because they have advanced degrees. An engineer or a nurse is more useful than a citrus worker.

They should not be able to skip to the head of the line simply because of their race. Besides, we have too much road congestion, pollution and crime rates which all get worse with them. It has been proven study after study. Why should they get to skip ahead of the line of someone who follows the law and has waited 10 years to get a visa? Someone who would do something illegal is more likely to commit other crimes.

That said, the LEGAL immigrants that are here are fine, we just need to get the millions of illegals out as well as get better border security, especially in these days.

50% Good News Is the Bad News in Russian Radio

MOSCOW, April 21 — At their first meeting with journalists since taking over Russia’s largest independent radio news network, the managers had startling news of their own: from now on, they said, at least 50 percent of the reports about Russia must be “positive.”

In addition, opposition leaders could not be mentioned on the air and the United States was to be portrayed as an enemy, journalists employed by the network, Russian News Service, say they were told by the new managers, who are allies of the Kremlin.

How would they know what constituted positive news?

“When we talk of death, violence or poverty, for example, this is not positive,” said one editor at the station who did not want to be identified for fear of retribution. “If the stock market is up, that is positive. The weather can also be positive.”

In a darkening media landscape, radio news had been a rare bright spot. Now, the implementation of the “50 percent positive” rule at the Russian News Service leaves an increasingly small number of news outlets that are not managed by the Kremlin, directly or through the state national gas company, Gazprom, a major owner of media assets.

The three national television networks are already state controlled, though small-circulation newspapers generally remain independent.

This month alone, a bank loyal to President Vladimir V. Putin tightened its control of an independent television station, Parliament passed a measure banning “extremism” in politics and prosecutors have gone after individuals who post critical comments on Web chat rooms.

Parliament is also considering extending state control to Internet sites that report news, reflecting the growing importance of Web news as the country becomes more affluent and growing numbers of middle-class Russians acquire computers.

On Tuesday, the police raided the Educated Media Foundation, a nongovernmental group sponsored by United States and European donors that helps foster an independent news media. The police carried away documents and computers that were used as servers for the Web sites of similar groups. That brought down a Web site run by the Glasnost Defense Foundation, a media rights group, which published bulletins on violations of press freedoms.

“Russia is dropping off the list of countries that respect press freedoms,” said Boris Timoshenko, a spokesman for the foundation. “We have propaganda, not information.”

Meanwhile, we’re considering letting them in our missile defense system? The Soviets are moving against press freedom, religious freedom, and freedom of association.  Sadly, they are turning back to their old evil ways.  We need to keep track of their aging arsenal of nuclear weapons so they don’t get into the hands of terrorists, and we also need to pressure them to respect freedoms.

I’m watching a Dateline special on car thieves who steal not only cars but also sell cocaine and guns.  I hope they throw these idiots behind bars for life.  They steal from the rest of us by causing car insurance rates to go up.  They should work in a prison connected to a factory to benefit us, in order to reduce the burden they are on us.

Syracuse Police are searching for a sick animal who raped an 11-year-old girl.   Let’s hope they find him.
